    Vaginal Orgasm:
Last night one of my best friends, Alexandra, phoned me excitedly with the question about the vaginal orgasm. Her lover Claire, who had never slept with a man before gets easily a vaginal orgasm and finds it ‘strange’ that she doesn’t. Alexandra explains that we are talking of the stimulation inside the vagina and its opening, not clitoral simulation or vulva contact or anal contact.

My friend asked me what do I know about it, what are my experiences? Could it be that all of Alexandra’s heterosexual experience all those years ago had sort of limited her abilities? Wow what a question; 30 years ago everyone was sure about the evidence of the vaginal orgasm-myth. Then everybody was sure or at least relieved that it is normal not to have a vaginal orgasm because inside the vagina is measurably a neuronal dessert, even the rectum has much more nerve endings.

whenever i put my finger (or something else) inside her vagina i made sure i stimulate at the same time her clitorial area or the whole vulva area or her anus.... therefore i was not in the situation to experience a woman getting a vaginal orgasm without any other physical contact but the inside--neither rubbing inside towards the clitoris... i have never fucked a woman merely vaginal as i was sure she wont be able to come with reduced stimulation inside the vagina including its opening

Heterosexual practise needed contact of the male mount Venus to make sure simultaneous stimulation of the clitoris and the nerves in the vulva area is ensured.
Since then the clitoris rose from the ashes and was celebrated and defended.

I phoned some friends passing on the question and the answers where similar. It varied from an uncertain “ cant really remember a lover with exclusively vaginal orgasm, to : I like it but no I cant come just vaginally- to no –inside I am dead like a doorpost.

Today lesbians have claimed the vagina as an additional area of pleasure without feeling a ‘pervert’ (joke) because she likes to be fucked now and then. Insertion seems to have become more popular than the old cunnilingus. The sex industry has taken up on this and provides all sorts of insertion aids (see shop). It makes it possible to take up on the pleasures which are ‘normally’ reserved for men and women. You can have the pleasure of an oblong thingy enjoying vaginal stimulation or a penis looking thingy thus experimenting with gender games if you like.

I am certain that lesbians enjoy-and have claimed- the vagina during those last 30 years, it is no longer male territory and is no longer an alleged penis envy phobia of the lesbian which prevents you from fucking your lover or get fucked as much as you like without feeling to be a cryptic heterosexual. With or without an orgasm it remains exiting or boring depending on your mood.

What do you think? What are your experiences???
    Very curious
    Lilly
