Sapphosophy - ART

Throughout the centuries women have been represented in art predominantly through the male gaze, or from a mans point of view. The Sapphosophy Archive hopes to show another perspective, the female gaze, or the womens point of view, by publishing lesbian comment on imagery in art, we hope to address the imbalance in art documentation.

lesbiankamasutra shows artwork in the lesbiankamasutra gallery. Artists are welcome to have a small exhibition of a selection of their work. This will last for two months until the next artist. You will be able to see all the former artists in residence in the lesbiankamasutra Artists Gallery.
